The status of eBike Lock & Alarm is not available. Why is this?

If you see the message "Not connected – Status of eBike Lock & Alarm not available" on the home screen of the eBike Flow app, this may be due to the following reasons:

  • Is eBike Lock & Alarm activated? To activate the function, go to  eBike settings > eBike Lock & Alarm in the  top right-hand corner of the eBike home screen.
  • Do you not have an active Flow+ subscription (anymore)? Find out how to subscribe to Flow+ here.
  • Is your eBike parked in a location without GPS or mobile reception? Without reception, it will not be possible to determine the parking location.
  • Are you using an eBike assigned to family members or friends? Only the main user can see the parking location of the eBike. If you are the secondary user, you will see the message "Not connected. Status of eBike Lock & Alarm not available". The eBike is nevertheless protected.
  • Do you suspect there may be a technical defect? If so, please contact your  specialist dealer.
