Help for problems when reconnecting to the eBike Flow app
To connect your eBike to the eBike Flow app, the following conditions must be met:
- Make sure that the battery is inserted correctly. Turn on your eBike and stay close by with your smartphone.
- Check your smartphone's system settings to see whether Bluetooth is switched on. Make sure that the eBike Flow app has the authorization to use Bluetooth. Check the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone to see whether it is connected to your eBike.
- Ensure you have installed the latest version of the eBike Flow app.
- If you have several eBikes in your digital garage, check whether you have selected the right eBike. You can find out how to add another eBike here.
Instructions on how to connect your eBike to the eBike Flow app can be found here. If your eBike does not automatically connect to the eBike Flow app, carry out the following steps in the specified order:
- Restart your eBike. The eBike must be completely turned off before you turn it on again.
- Restart the eBike Flow app by removing it from the list of running apps before opening it again.
a. Optional for iOS: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the overview of open apps. Search for the eBike Flow app and close it by swiping the app upward.
b. Optional for Android: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen or tap the rectangle icon. Search for the eBike Flow app and close it by swiping it upward. - Go to your Bluetooth settings and remove your eBike from the list of paired Bluetooth devices.
Note: This will have no effect on your custom eBike settings, planned routes, or recorded activities. - Go back to the eBike Flow app and follow the instructions on the home screen. You may be prompted to reconnect your eBike.
If your eBike is still not connected after having taken these steps, proceed as follows:
- Remove your eBike from the eBike Flow app. To do so, go to
eBike settings > Remove eBike.
Note: If you remove the eBike from the eBike Flow app, custom eBike settings (e.g., custom riding modes) will also be deleted, but not your planned routes and statistics. - Uninstall the eBike Flow app from your smartphone.
Note: Your data saved in the eBike Flow app will be saved to your account and will not be lost. Make sure that you log in again with the same account. - Go to the
Apple App Store or
Google Play Store and reinstall the eBike Flow app.
- Log in with your account and connect your eBike.
If you are still unable to connect to your eBike, this may be due to a technical error. If this happens, please contact a dealer.
