How does the 'Lock' function work?

Motor support is deactivated by disconnecting the on-board computer after activating the 'Lock' function. The eBike can then only be used without motor support until the on-board computer with which the 'Lock' function was activated is connected to the eBike again. 'Lock' is intended to complement the mechanical lock, not replace it.

Note: The option to purchase the premium features (Premium feature Lock, custom riding modes, Topo range indicator) in the Bosch eBike Connect app shop via Google Play Store or the Apple App Store was discontinued in April 2025. If you have already purchased the premium features, nothing will change. You can continue to use them as usual.
