What points do I have to remember about the Lock function of the eBike Connect app when I change my phone?
- Install the eBike Connect app on your new phone
- Log in using your existing account
- Connect your phone to your computer via Bluetooth. The message "Lock function activated. No motor support until the Lock function has been deactivated" appears. Your account is the key to the Lock function, so you can confirm the message with "OK".
- The Lock function will then be set up again automatically. The app indicates when the Lock function is activated
Note: The option to purchase the premium features (Premium feature Lock, custom riding modes, Topo range indicator) in the Bosch eBike Connect app shop via Google Play Store or the Apple App Store was discontinued in April 2025. If you have already purchased the premium features, nothing will change. You can continue to use them as usual.
