Why do I get an error message when I try to set up the "Lock function" on another eBike?
A) The 'Lock' function can be set up on a maximum of four eBikes and the maximum number has already been reached.
B) It may take up to two hours after the 'Lock' function is activated on the first eBike before it can be installed on another eBike.
Note: The option to purchase the premium features (Premium feature Lock, custom riding modes, Topo range indicator) in the Bosch eBike Connect app shop via Google Play Store or the Apple App Store was discontinued in April 2025. If you have already purchased the premium features, nothing will change. You can continue to use them as usual.
