I get the message "Lock function activated No motor support until lock function has been deactivated" when connecting or pairing. What does that mean?
Pressing the light button for several seconds triggers a pairing attempt with the smartphone. Select Cancel if you don't have your smartphone handy. Otherwise, your smartphone will be decoupled and you will not receive any motor support until you deactivate the Lock function again using your smartphone.
Note: The option to purchase the premium features (Premium feature Lock, custom riding modes, Topo range indicator) in the Bosch eBike Connect app shop via Google Play Store or the Apple App Store was discontinued in April 2025. If you have already purchased the premium features, nothing will change. You can continue to use them as usual.
