How to tell which generation your eBike system belongs to

Follow these steps to find out whether your eBike is fitted with the smart system or the Bosch eBike system 2.

1. Does your control unit have colored LEDs?

• Yes, you have the LED Remote, the System Controller, or Purion 200 -> the smart system
• No, the control unit does not have colored LEDs -> continue to step 2

2. Is there an integrated display in the top tube of your eBike?

• Yes, Kiox 400C is built into the top tube -> the smart system
• No, there is no display built into the top tube -> continue to step 3

3. Which display are you using?
Compare your display with this overview.  Here you will find all the displays for the smart system and for the Bosch eBike system 2.

4. Which app are you using?

• You are using the eBike Flow app -> the smart system
• You are using the eBike Connect app -> Bosch eBike system 2

5. Which motor does your eBike have?
Check which drive unit is fitted to your eBike. The  overview shows which drive unit belongs to each system generation.
